Fresh From the Bisque Kiln

These are the two different size icon boxes I'm making at the moment.  The small box is Saint Giles...patron saint of those who fear the night.... the larger one is a goddess.  The sides of the goddess box have some texture that should look really amazing with the glaze on it!

About Me

My photo
Jenny
I suppose it's time to update my profile. I am no longer "the lady with the big white dog"....sweet Rufus is gone and I will never be the same. He will be missed every minute of every day. I no longer live in the middle of nowhere...I live above my pottery studio and my sister's pottery shop, Rabbit Creek Pottery, in Dillsboro, NC. I take pottery classes in Bryson City, NC and travel to Atlanta often. I still make saints and gods and goddesses but now I also make mugs and plates and bowls...... When the time is right, I'll open my own shop...Blind Dog Studio.....my pots will be signed in braille and a little story of Rufus will be included in all my sales...right now, it's just too sad. addendum....I didn't think I would ever get another dog, certainly never another white German shepherd, but I did! Wintermantel (Winter) came to live with me in May. He's a goofy, smart, rapidly growing new friend. I think we're both quite happy.
